Danish airline Sun-Air, a franchise partner of British Airways, is to open a new route between Cambridge and Gothenburg on March 2.
The route was introduced to allow employees at biopharmaceutical firm Astra Zeneca to fly between the two hubs in the UK and Sweden.
The eight-times weekly service, operated by a 32-seat Dornier 328 jet, will depart Monday – Thursday in the morning and evening.
